1 Scope
This policy applies to the Paintings mobile application. Paintings is an art-browsing app that lets you view artworks, painters, and museum collections. The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal details such as your name, phone number, or email address in order to use it.
When you use the App, we may automatically process limited technical information from your device, including but not limited to: device and operating-system type, app version, language and region settings, and basic diagnostic or crash information. This data is not used to personally identify you.
2 Information We Collect
- Favorites and preferences. Artworks you mark as favorites and settings such as your appearance (Light/Dark) preference are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
- Artwork content. Images and descriptions are streamed from third-party art sources over the internet, which requires a network connection. Your requests for this content are subject to the practices of those sources.
- Technical & diagnostic data. Anonymous information about how the App performs (for example, crash reports) may be processed to help us keep the App stable and reliable.
We do not collect your contacts, health data, precise location, photos, or other sensitive personal information.
3 How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- Provide, operate, and display the App's content and features;
- Remember your favorites and settings on your device;
- Diagnose problems, improve performance, and enhance the user experience.
4 Information Sharing and Disclosure
- We will not sell your information or disclose it to untrusted third parties.

Favorites and settings remain on your device and are removed when you delete the App. Any technical data processed by us or our service providers may be stored on servers that could be located in, or accessed from, a country or region other than your own, and may be accessed, stored, and displayed there in accordance with applicable law.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Please protect your own device and personal information, and provide it to others only when necessary.
7 Third-Party Services
Artwork content is delivered from third-party art websites and content-delivery networks. When such content is loaded, those providers may receive standard technical request information (such as your IP address and device type) as part of normal internet operation. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
8 Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
